The furthest one number can be pushed. Each of these takes a single statistic, upgrades every aircraft in the game for that and nothing else, and shows whichever one ends up furthest ahead.
None of these is a build worth flying. Each one took the branch that served its one statistic at every fork, including the forks where the other branch was better at everything else. A cannon built for damage alone gives up handling, cooling and every other system's choice to get there. That trade is on the build page behind each card, which is why every card links to it.
Every system's upgrade tree is independent, and from tier 5 upward each tier is a choice between two branches. Pick a statistic, score both branches at every fork by what they do to it, take the higher one, and you have the best build for that statistic on that aircraft. Run it once per aircraft and the winner falls out.
Three systems, Fuselage, Engines and Avionics, give every airframe the same percentages. On the statistics those own, every aircraft improves by an identical amount, so the winner is decided by which one started highest rather than by the upgrade. Weapons are the opposite: which trees an aircraft carries differs, so the upgrade itself is what separates them.
The figures are ours, not the game's. They are the wiki's published percentages with this tool's arithmetic on them, the same arithmetic the build calculator uses, and they are recomputed from the data every time this page is drawn rather than written down. Nothing here is a measurement taken in game.

Engines are universal as well, so the aircraft that starts fastest also finishes fastest.

Radar Range km
Avionics is the third tree every airframe carries. The same interceptor wins this and the speed card, which is what happens when one aircraft holds the highest base on two universal trees.

Fuel Regeneration Time s
Less is better here, so the winner is the shortest bar rather than the longest. Halved, near enough.
